RGV CPR is committed to making lifesaving skills accessible to everyone (15 and over) and helping build confidence in handling emergencies.

The hands-on workshop includes training in:

• Performing CPR 
• Using an AED
• Helping a choking victim
• Advanced bleeding control (using a tourniquet)
• Naloxone use (for opioid overdose)

Only registered participants 15 years of age and older may attend. Participants under the age of 18 years must attend with registered parent or guardian.

This is a free course. There is no cancellation or rescheduling policy. We kindly ask that you notify us if you will not be able to attend so that we can make the course accessible to others who are interested.

Workshop Disclaimer

This workshop is provided by RGV CPR based on the instructor’s professional knowledge as a Texas Registered Nurse and certified CPR and First Aid instructor. It is for educational purposes only and does not result in certification. This workshop is not affiliated with the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). Participants will learn basic lifesaving techniques, but it is their responsibility to pursue formal certification courses for recognized credentials.
